Very nice
Could we have more detail ? And more pics !!!

(Private joke : merde, encore un buggy avec les AS verticaux... Fait chier ....)

Nice Buggy :icon_cool: We really need more informations about it :wink::wink:

réponse to private joke: Qu'est ce qu'il te dit qu'il est efficace ce buggy ? :MDR49::mrgreen:

No I cant take the credit for building it was built by some one else. Its a really clean rig nicely finished, quick run down on specs
4.6 Rover
TD5 axles cut and flipped
ZF auto
3 mode steering 2. 4. crab
ARB's and shafts
Fiddles all round
Ali rad, oil cooler
37 Boggers/Krawlers on 17 x 9.5 ali bead locks
its really light and stacks of power for a rover  I'v not done to much with it as yet the steering takes some getting used to, need to spend some time in it.

Awesome !

Do you have more pictures ?? Engine implantation, rear view, etc...

How did the builder managed to have Passanger drop axles with the Passanger output of the Rover T-Case ??? Do you have some pics of the driveline ???

Thanks !

Bebop

I'll take some shortly  Axles are cut and flipped and then the rear was built, still TD5 parts but the housing and shafts are custom, diff and CV's are RCV. The T case is lefthand drop out of a P38 rangi. It all sits in there really neat with a short prop and then a bearing race and then down to the rear the front is a straight run.

The T case is lefthand drop out of a P38 rangi.

That explains all !!

I already thought about that, buit how did you do with the viscous coupling unit ?? Is it still there ?? Or is it locked ??

Do you think that TCase be strong enough to whistand the abuses of the extreme use ?

I'd like to think so its locked up and in low range permanently. Being auto it should stick it but if not an atlas will soon be put in!!!

Is there a file size limit to upoad I'v pictures but they wont upload??

yep !

Use 800x600 pictures, that's enought to be clearly seen

Je lui ai posé des questions à propos du visco de la BT de P38... (bloqué, pas bloqué ? suffisament solide ???)

Il a répondu que le visco devait etre bloqué, et que si ça ne supporte pas les contraintes, il mettrait une Atlas

I have figured it out my computer skills are not the best!!! I'll take some more I'm relocating the ECU at the minute get it up higher.

Its hung in there on the pair, works well, I'd say real easy to line up too  I'v not had it out yet but it will happen!! There if a few bits on it you'd look at and think I'd of never thought of doing it like that.
I'm trying to get a set of air bypass for it to change the air shox out for but Fox dont seem to want to play ball. Maybe a sway bar in the rear too.

Bien vu les supports moteur, sa laisse de la place pour la transmission. Par contre les efforts avec le couple moteur doivent etre importants. Les tirants qui supportent le moteur doivent flamber à l'accélération. Very nice buggy Bart.

Hello all happy new year a little late I know, been quiet with the buggy couldn't decide which way to go but got an entry for KOV so now want to make some major changes to running gear, new wheels and tires upgrade the axles. And a set of FOX air bypass
Keeping the axle housings but bigger internals, 300M shafts etc will post up some pic's as soon as, its not in my shop I'v had to take it to a machine shop to get done what I want to do. I'v a few other bits to do for the rule book pictures will follow shortly. Bart

Ok so on the axles I have taken toyota diff's and remachined the casing to make them fit giving me a much bigger shaft at the diff end. I'v got a bigger bearings and having new housings made, 33 spline for the outside and then custom 300M shafts with CTM joints. The wheels arrived really nice. But I cant attach pictures when I click the button nothing happens! But I will keep trying.

trying to do a bit more at it, i've front light bar- i'm machining up some ali clamps for it at the moment... i've rear lights to mount, need to make a light box for them to sit in. with the axles i've gone to toyota diffs which gives me a bigger spline than landrover and Iv'e found a timkin unit bearing which ive modified to fit the landrover knuckle. so this'll edn up with my drive being 33 spline on outside, 30 on the diff end, all being made from 300M. I'm hoping this will beef my axles up enough.

also machining up a sway bar for the rear... not too sure how i'm going to mount it yet...

Finally got it finished! a few small bits after its first run but nothing major. Really happy with the steering setup, works great in 2 and 4 wheel steer.

truly awesome !!!

Looks killer !

I'd love to see a video of this thing, I bet it works flawlessly :icon_cool:

HP + 4ws + limited weight is the winning combo :pirate:

Really nice buggy

I really dig how it comes out after the mods .

But, just as Bebop said, you tease us so much that now we need a video

My friend took video when we were out the other day, as soon as I get it from him I'll put it up! 4 wheel steer works really nice first buggy I'v built with it, if I was to build another I'd def have it on the list! Weight is just over 1000kgs and with the V8 in the rear it will just climb and climb and climb!
Need to get some more time on it work the bugs out, then get some events under its belt!

Nothing better than seat time and fine tunings

That's one sharp tool : use it the good way and it will reward you 100x times

I'm in southern Ireland, I'd consider selling this at the minute another buggy has come up I'd like to buy :-). I'll try and get some video up I'v been busy again and buggy has not left the workshop!

A two seat version of a very similar chassis but its again not finished a lot more spec tho LS1 V8, 9" axles, C/O's not air shox 4 linked front and rear, winches front and rear. Thought it would make for a nice project over the winter . I have an Ultra4 buggy I'm building but its a little all or nothing, its not really built for messing around with a few of you at the weekend, I'd still like to have that option.
