New edition of the Italian Extreme Championship organized by Riccardo Pisani promises to be very interesting.
The first leg of WTI is scheduled for 25th and 26th April at Vagli, in the province of Lucca, where the best drivers of this motorsport specialty will compete at the start line. Valdagno, near Vicenza, will host the second round of the extreme race series, while in July (18th and 19th) the race will be hosted by Palo (Savona).
It will offer enthusiasts a great show.
The last two stages of the 2015 season are located in Tuscany and Lazio: the penultimate leg of Warn Trophy Italy will be held on 19th and 20th September in Vagli, while the finals (7th and 8th November) will be in Bolsena, in the province of Viterbo.
As last year, there will be three categories of vehicles at the start line of WTI: Extreme with limitless tire size; Limited 38 with tires up to 96 cm in diameter; UTV side by side with a limit of 30-inch tires.
The 2015 championship by Dead Dogs Promotion in collaboration with Fiamma Nazionale, provides for participants a set of requirements and technical equipment in order to ensure adequate security in the race (one winch in the front and roll cage for all vehicles).
Seat belts with a minimum of two anchor points will also be required, constantly connected when the crew is inside the vehicle during the special stage.
Same rule for the approved helmet.
The crews divided by category, will be awarded the following scores: 20, 17, 14, 10, 7 and 4 points respectively to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th while participation in the leg will give one point if the placement does not fall among the top six.
To make Warn Trophy Italia more exciting there will be the Trofeo Traction 4×4 that will assign a voucher to the winners of the special stage or prologue in both categories – Extreme and Limited 38.
