Dans une pub pour Allisport dans le dernier LRO, mon œil fut attiré par un véhicule bien bien sympa (enfin pour moi quoi… ;-)
J’ai alors cherché et fouiné pour obtenir plus d’info et j’ai contacté le concepteur fabriquant de l’engin…
La base est en fait un chassis tubulaire (différentes résistances possible), au niveau moteur, la base est le fameux 2.8 International engine (le 300Tdi à 2.8 avec TGV), aux niveaux ponts tout est possible (land rover, nissan, toy… spyder), ci-dessous en anglais leurs spec…
Le gros avantage, c’est qu’il est possible d’acheter les morceaux principaux et de faire sa sauce… En tout cas, du 4 links sur l’avant et l’arrière, c’est quand même sympa…

We are producing frames, improved versions of this prototype. Costs for frame with principal brackets (links and winch mounts), all TIG welded, are

£4000 in CDS
£4500 in Clubman 500

Main A and B hoops and the horizontal hoops round the front and rear are in 2" by 3mm wall for strength and impact resistance. All other tube is 2mm.

Also available in T45

We are providing everything from frames to fully built vehicles and components in between. They can be built with a wide range of drivetrain and axle components including Land Rover. Frame can easily run 42" tyre.

Non, sans blague, je suis sur que pour certain, en cumulant le prix d'achat véhicule + les nombreuses prépa, tu arrives rapidement au tarif demandés, qui ne sont pas si énorme (tout est relatif évidemment..), mais je suis sur que pour 35 - 40 keuros tu arrives à un véhicule roulant... (base par exemple, un disco Td5 d'occas compris...) et avec cela tu dispose d'un véhicule prêt pour du challenge...



Exemple ci dessous de Tim:
To supply 1 Filthyboy frame in Clubman 500, fully TIG welded with brackets for suspension links and suspension struts / coilovers (note frame will be in bare metal).

Supply and fit suspension links, 2"o.d. lowers and 1.5" o.d. uppers, machined from solid 7075 aluminium, anodised for corrosion protection. These are made with left and right hand threads so suspension is fully adjustable on the vehicle.

Supply and fit rod ends (Aurora or equivalent quality) for the above, 3/4 inch with 7/8 inch thread (i.e. heavy duty).

Supply and fit suspension struts. For now assume these will be the ORI struts with internal bump and limit stops and anti-roll function unless our testing shows them to be no good (doubtful!). These are pretty much state of the art in Extreme Rock Racing in the US. We can substitute for coilovers or air shocks and adjust costs accordingly.

Modify and fit Discovery 2 axles to be supplied by the customer (delivery at customer cost) with all existing bracketry removed. This will involve trussing the axles for strength and to incorporate 4 link and strut brackets.

Price ex-works £14,500 excluding VAT

les gas laisser tomber il faisait que chauffer leur moteur pendant l'outback il on meme du abandonner
